16 tonnes of fishing nets and hospital beds for Ukraine: thank you to our partners
Today we want to thank the partners with whom we have already delivered tens of tonnes of aid to Ukraine. Most of it never makes it into a photo – nets, beds and mattresses go from the lorry straight to where they are needed. But behind every tonne there are specific people, companies and organisations, and we want to tell you about them.
16 tonnes of fishing nets
A sincere thank you to the company, a loyal supporter of ours, that donated 16 tonnes of fishing nets. We carry both the light ones (monofilament nets) and the heavy ones – at the front all of them become camouflage. They cover positions and protect roads in frontline towns and suburbs: a net stretched over a road hides from drones whatever moves along it.
Hospital beds and mattresses
A sincere thank you to LSMU Kaunas Hospital for medical beds and mattresses – they left in the same shipment.
Partners on the other side of the border – “Lehit”
Thank you to our partners, the Ukrainian charitable organisation “Lehit” («Легіт»), without whom none of this would be possible: they financed the transport of this whole “operation” and deliver the aid directly to the soldiers. Our part is to collect and load in Kaunas; theirs is to bring it across and hand it to those who need it.
And now – tyres
At the same time, a reminder: we are currently raising money to pay off the tyres we have already delivered to the front and to buy the new ones the soldiers are asking for – 900 € in total. The mud season is starting and winter is coming: a vehicle without proper tyres is no use at the front. You can chip in here: Tyres for frontline vehicles.
Thank you for being with us. Visi išvien – all together. 🇱🇹🇺🇦
