Data protection and cookie policy (GDPR)

Updated: July 2026

By visiting visiisvien.lt or supporting the Fund, you entrust us with some of your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for, and what rights you have as a data subject. Below is a short summary, followed by the full policy in numbered sections.

Data controller: Charity and Support Fund “Visi išvien”, company code 306950546, registered address Kalniečių g. 112, LT-50154 Kaunas. Write to us at info@visiisvien.lt.

In short: what do we use your data for?

  • to receive and record your support (money, a vehicle, or another item);
  • to respond to your questions and inquiries;
  • to tell you about the fund's activities and news — on our website and social media;
  • to understand how visitors use the website (analytics cookies, only with your consent);
  • to conclude and perform support agreements;
  • to keep accounts and report to state institutions;
  • to defend the legitimate interests of the fund, our volunteers and our partners, if needed.

And what can you do? As a data subject you have the right to: find out what data of yours is processed; access it; request its correction, transfer or deletion; object to or restrict its processing; withdraw consent at any time; and, if you believe something is wrong, contact the State Data Protection Inspectorate (ada@ada.lt).

1. What this policy covers

You can browse the website anonymously — no registration required. This policy takes effect for you personally from the moment you consent to cookies, make a donation, write to us, or otherwise contact us — from then on we process your data under the rules described here.

2. Who the data controller is

Your personal data is processed by Charity Fund „Visi išvien“, company code 306950546, registered office at Kalniečių g. 112, LT-50154 Kaunas — the “data controller” in this policy. Send questions about data processing to info@visiisvien.lt.

3. What data we collect and why

Each purpose listed below has its own legal basis, which we state alongside it.

3.1. Receiving and recording donations. Payments on the Website are processed using the makecommerce.lt platform, operated by Maksekeskus AS (Niine 11, Tallinn 10414, Estonia, reg. no. 12268475), and therefore your personal information required to execute and confirm the payment will be transferred to Maksekeskus AS. We receive confirmation of the completed payment from Maksekeskus AS and keep this data for as long as accounting legislation requires.

3.2. News and communication. We share news about the fund's activities and results on our website and social media. With your consent, we may additionally send a newsletter or show you tailored online ads using cookies — we only do this with your consent.

3.3. Responding to your inquiries. We use the data you provide when writing to us only to respond, processing it based on our legitimate interest in replying to messages promptly and properly. We keep it for no longer than 3 months after our reply, unless longer retention is necessary due to a possible dispute.

3.4. Website statistics. With your consent, we use analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics 4) to collect statistics on website traffic — this helps us improve it. Without your consent, these cookies do not activate.

3.5. Performing agreements. Once a support agreement or other contract is concluded, we process the parties' data specified in it so we can perform the contract, and keep it for 10 years after the contract ends.

3.6. Financial accounting. Like every fund, we are required to keep accounting records and report to state institutions within the procedures and deadlines set by law.

3.7. Defence of legitimate interests. In the event of a dispute or legal proceedings, based on our legitimate interest in defending the fund's rights or those of third parties, we may process related data for as long as the proceedings continue.

4. Who else sees your data

We do not share your data with anyone, except in the following cases:

  • Payment service provider. The personal information required to execute and confirm your payment is transferred to Maksekeskus AS (Niine 11, Tallinn 10414, Estonia, reg. no. 12268475), which operates the makecommerce.lt payment platform. When executing the payment, Maksekeskus AS processes this data as an independent data controller, under its own privacy policy.
  • Service providers. We work with IT and accounting partners. They act on our instructions, as data processors, and are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • State institutions. When required by law, we may provide data to competent authorities (e.g. the State Tax Inspectorate).

5. Data outside Europe

We do not transfer your data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, except in exceptional cases — and then only in strict compliance with the safeguards set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6. How we protect your data

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss, alteration or unauthorised disclosure, and our volunteers and staff are trained in how to handle personal data. The website sometimes contains links to third-party sites — we are not responsible for their content or privacy policies.

7. What you can request

As a data subject, you have the right to:

  • obtain information about the processing of your data and access it;
  • request the correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of your data (the „right to be forgotten“);
  • restrict the processing of your data or object to it;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw previously given consent at any time;
  • lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (ada@ada.lt).

To exercise any of these rights, simply email us at the address given in this policy.

8. About cookies
