Our crew has reached Ukraine: 8 vehicles, 3 tonnes of aid
Some of the vehicles set off yesterday, some only today – but all of them made it to Ukraine safely.
This time a sizeable crew of ours hit the road:
- 🚐 VW Crafter – carrying humanitarian aid, and driving the other drivers back home 😇
- 🚗 The Kaišiadorys Passat Quattro
- 🚗 Ford Focus (towed)
- 🚗 Passat No. 1
- 🚗 Passat No. 2
- 🚗 Renault Clio (towed)
- 🚐 IVECO
- 🚗 Škoda Octavia
Together with the vehicles, more than 3 tonnes of humanitarian aid made it to Ukraine! As always, the Crafter also carried spare tyres and towed one car that could no longer drive on its own.
Thank you to our volunteers – Jonas, Kęstutis, Vladas, Alina, Saulius and Raimondas – for the courage to drive into Ukraine at a time when Russia commits an ever more horrifying war crime every single day…
The vehicles have already reached Ukraine, but we’re still short on fuel money to get them to their final destinations. Every vehicle’s trip from Lithuania costs around 150 €, which puts this mission’s budget at a minimum of 900 €. Yesterday we didn’t receive a single donation, and we can’t afford to pause our missions. Please help if you can – especially this week, as Lithuania marks the Baltic Way and Ukraine celebrates its Independence Day tomorrow. 🇱🇹🇺🇦
